Main Bedroom
The Main Bedroom is downstairs. This is a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and white percale linen.
The en suite bathroom consists of a bath, shower, basin and toilet.
For your comfort, all linen, towels and amenities are provided for.
This room is individually air-conditioned.
The Africa Room
The Africa Room is also downstairs, opposite the Main Bedroom. A love for nature and Africa served as inspiration for the theme of this room.
Complete with king size bed, mosquito net, white percale linen, towels and amenities, promising for unforgettable nights in the wild African bush veld.
The en suite bathroom has a large shower, toilet, basin and corner bath for those romantic evenings in the bush. Candles are provided...so what are you waiting for?
The Tree Top Room
The Tree Top Room is upstairs, next to the TV room.
When you look out the widow you are on tree top level. In the morning you see the most beautiful sunrise. If you are lucky you will also see the Bush Babies from time to time.
This room has two single beds, but can easily be converted to a king size bed. All linen and towels are of excellent quality and amenities are provided for.
The en suite bathroom has a shower, bath, basin and toilet.
The room is air conditioned for your comfort.
Kitchen
The kitchen is on ground level and fully equipped to cook up a storm.
A coffee percolator, toaster, microwave oven, gas oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, etc. etc. are there to make self-catering a dream.
Daily cleaning of the kitchen and entertainment area is included in the rate quoted. Our friendly staff come in every morning between 09h00 and 11h00 to do the dishes etc.
A menu of the local restaurants is on the table. So if you don't feel like cooking (after all you are on holiday!) just give them a call and they'll be glad to deliver your favourite meal.
Our new caretaker, Louis, was the previous owner of 2 restaurants. If you want to experience a true South African meal prepared on the open fire, or a scrumptious breakfast, he is the guy to talk to.

Swimming Pool and outside Lapa
This is definitely the best feature of Khaya Romantica. In summer in gets up to 40 degrees Celsius and there is no better place to relax with an ice cold cocktail. A small waterfall enhances the atmosphere with the sound of running water in the back ground.
A furnished veranda next to the swimming pool is available to hide from the harsh African sun.
The lapa, about 15m from the swimming pool, is the ideal place to spent endless nights around the fire. At night you can hear the lions and hippo's clearly.
Firewood and charcoal are provided. There is a Weber on the veranda.
The Balcony
The upstairs balcony has the most beautiful views over Marloth Park and Kruger in the distance. The balcony is fully furnished with a dining table and 6 comfortable chairs as well as cane furniture.
There is a CADAC gas braai and cupboard with crockery and cutlery.
A jacuzzi will soon be fitted as well as a day bed.
This is the best place to enjoy a sundowner!
